Beginning with the mechanical movements of the slide under the microscopes and the focus wheel being driven by the stepper motor, the view moves to a close-up of the slide and the high magnification microscope objective.

A computer screen displays the high magnification microscope's image window. A pollen grain image has been captured, and it moves away with the next pollen grain moving into view and coming into focus.
